  Argyle ISD Education Foundation Programs
 

 

Grants-To-Teachers Program
Encourages teachers and staff to develop and implement innovative instructional and classroom programs that demonstrate and advance new approaches to learning. The grants are awarded once in the Fall and once in the Spring.
 
Teacher Enrichment Grants
The teacher enrichment grants provide an opportunity for teachers to attend workshops and seminars to further their professional development. This allows the teachers to implement exciting new programs and instructional techniques into the classrooms and to share these programs with fellow teachers and staff. The Teacher Enrichment Grants are distributed monthly.
 
Campus Site Grants
The Foundation awards an annual $10,000 grant to each campus to incorporate instructional strategies benefitting all of the students at each campus. The site grants are submitted for approval by the principals after consultation from teachers and staff.
 

Student Enrichment Grants

Student grants are awarded to enrich their educational experience through camps, workshops and seminars.
 
GOLDEN EAGLE Teacher Excellence Awards
The Golden Eagle Teacher Excellence Award is a community-wide nominating process where fellow teachers, administrators and community members may nominate teachers in recognition of their teaching excellence. The teacher nominations are reviewed by an independent panel of judges from outside the district.
   
  Lisa MZ Endowment Teacher of the Year Award
  This endowment allows the Foundation to financially award the AISD teacher-of-the-year. Nominated by fellow teachers, administrators and community members, the teacher-of-the-year is selected by an independent panel of judges from outside the district.
   
  CoServ Endowment New Teacher Classroom Grants
  The Foundation awards each new teacher $100 from the CoServ Endowment to supply their classrooms with materials to make them inviting places to learn.
   
  Scholarships
  The Rudy Menn scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior demonstrating a volunteer spirit in the community.
   
  Teacher Appreciation Event
  The Foundation co-sponsors an annual appreciation luncheon for teachers and staff.
